Frequently asked questions

Can a quiz really see my aura?

No. There is no scientific evidence that people have a measurable aura, and no quiz or camera can photograph one. This quiz is a playful mood exercise: your picks are matched to our eight colors and turned into generated aura-style art.

What about aura cameras and Kirlian photos?

Kirlian photography captures an electrical corona discharge around an object. A 1976 study in Science found the images mostly reflect moisture, pressure and other physical conditions, not a person's emotional or spiritual state.

Why do some people say they see colors around people?

Some people with synesthesia experience colors linked to people or emotions. That is a real perceptual trait in the person seeing, not a field around the person being seen.
