The four temperaments → personality colors

The four temperaments come from ancient Greek humoral medicine (Hippocrates, later Galen): choleric, sanguine, phlegmatic and melancholic. They're the ancestor of almost every color system.

How we built this table

For each The four temperaments type we noted only what its public descriptions clearly say about decision pace, people versus task focus, and structure versus exploration. "Either" means the type doesn't clearly lean one way. Overlap in color names is coincidence: our Gold, for example, is not True Colors' Gold.
